Welcome to SVdP Middle School Youth Ministry
The SVdP Middle School Youth Ministry provides an environment where your teen(s) can gather in a safe supervised place. Also, it's a place where they can laugh together and learn about the Catholic faith together.
Middle School Youth Ministry General Assembly (GA) is on Sundays from 10:30am-12noon. GA's are open-invite to all 7th and 8th grade students. During our time with your teen, we have engaging relevant talks, relatable discussion, and fun activities to reinforce our theme for the day. All we ask of our parents is to fill out a Middle School Youth Ministry Waiver to "register," their child(ren).
Open Youth Room will take place once a month on a designated Friday from 3:00pm - 5:30pm (Please see the Save-The-Date in our Newsletter). Open Youth Room starts off with a short relevant Faith Clip & Discussion. Afterwards, your teen is encouraged to enjoy the fun environment of our Youth Room by strengthening their bonds with old and new friends. Lastly, light snacks and drinks will be served during Open Youth Room. All we ask of our parents is to fill out a Middle School Youth Ministry Waiver to "register," their child(ren).
Service Events we have partnered up with Catholic Charities and assist them at their Donations Warehouse. On designated Service Event Saturdays (Please see the Save-The-Date in our Newsletter) we sort through donations and get them ready to be sent to families in need. For all Service Event's we will give you advance notice, waivers, and the link to our SignUpGenius that will have all the information for the Service Event.
Lenten Service Events
During Lent the Middle School Youth Ministry assists The Knight of Columbus with the to-go orders at the Lenten Fish Fry.

Rotating Events are special events that we rotate in throughout the year to keep everything fresh and your child engaged.
Unplugged: Simple+ Meaningful + Real
Unplugged is an amazing evening of some technology-free fun and fellowship! You will experience the friendship of Christ through team building games and activities. The evening will conclude with the sharing of experiences of the "hidden messages," behind the games and activities played that evening.
Happy Hour - Experiencing the Joy of the Gospel
Happy Hour is an engaging group discussion where your child will experience the Gospel through the eyes and heart of Jesus. Each discussion is followed by the opportunity to share with their peers how God is working in their life and how we as a community can live a Christ-centered life.
Social Events are special occasions where we take your teen(s) on a supervised fun "field trips and Day Retreats," off the SVdP Campus. Social Events help create experiences that your child can unplug from technology and create memorable moments with their friends. Social Events may have additional registrations cost (due to transportation and/or cost of the event) and waivers that would need to be turned in before the event.
Balloons and Bar-B-Que: 1,000 water balloons, water cannons that shoot up to 70ft, tug of war, delicious bar-b-que, music, and you! Feel free to bring a friend or two!
