Seventy-five years ago, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School was opened with four temporary army barracks, four teaching Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, and 165 students.  Opening a school was a top priority of the young parish and many came together to make this grand plan a reality.

As we celebrate the school’s 75^th anniversary, our parish is pursuing another grand plan –construction of a new 17-classroom Catholic Education Building to replace our oldest standing building, our 70-year old Intermediate school building. It will be designed with flexible learning space as our buildings are used six-days a week by 550 CCE students and 500 day school students.

In addition to classrooms, we will have fresh new locker rooms, science, visual/media and collaboration labs, new offices for counseling, tutoring and athletics, teacher workrooms, a lounge and study area, an outdoor second-floor deck for group gatherings, and an updated design to ensure the building is not susceptible to future flooding.
