Great News! The Chapel Debt will be paid off on April 1st!!!
Thank you for your support since 2020 of the Our Lady of Lourdes Debt Reduction Fund. After April 1st, that envelope will no longer be included in the monthly envelope packet and that Fund will no longer be available to you online. If you have a scheduled online donation, you should have received an email with instructions on how to adjust your donation. Please call the parish office if you need help. Thank you again for your generosity!
If you would like a suggestion on where to redirect your funds, please consider the Maintenance Fund to help maintain our campus, including the Chapel.
For questions and/or help with online donations, please call either Paulette Blackburn (713-667-9111) or Andrea Quinn (713-663-3560).
The History of the Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel. A new chapel was a vision of the parish for many years. We began raising funds for a chapel in the campaign of 2010 and again in 2016. Thanks to all the generous donors and a loan through the Archdiocese, we broke ground on February 11, 2019. It was completed in August of 2020 and dedicated with a beautiful Mass on September 8, 2020. The Most Reverence Cardinal Dinardo presided. The Chapel capacity is 235.
Daily Masses are celebrated in the Chapel. Join us for Mass at 6:45 AM and 12:10 PM Monday through Friday. The Tuesday evening Mass is also celebrated here on Tuesday (except for the first Tuesday of each month) at 7:00 PM.
The Chapel is a busy place! The school is using the Chapel every week and it is frequently scheduled for weddings, funerals, and baptisms.
You are invited into this sacred space. Come spend some time in the Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel. It is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM for private prayer.
Come sit awhile! The prayer garden is a quiet place to take a walk along the "Stations of the Cross" path. There are many places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. A new statue of the Pietá was installed last year. The prayer garden is open all day and can be accessed through the Chapel. We hope you will take advantage of this peaceful place.
