Wedding Coordinatoramartinsvdp-edu.orgAllyson began working at St. Vincent de Paul again in April 2024 as the Assistant Wedding Director. Prior to this Allyson served as the Coordinator of Parish and Family Life Ministries at St. Vincent de Paul and earlier as a Litigation Process Expert at Allstate Insurance Company for almost 20 years.
Allyson graduated from Texas A&M at Corpus Christi in 1986 with a BBA. She has been married to Deacon Burt Martin since 1995. She was initiated into the Catholic Church in 2003 at St. Thomas More and has been a member of SVdP for 20 years. Allyson and Deacon Burt enjoy spending time together with their four Standard Poodles (Flurry, Baron, Maggie Mae, and Bentley), exercising together, traveling, wine tasting, cooking together and relaxing at home.
Allyson was the founding director of Walking With Purpose and has also served as a Pastoral Coordinator, Operational Coordinator and Small Group Facilitator for WWP. She served with the Society of SVdP for five years and is a member of the Catholic Charities Advisory Board.
