Dean Kovacs

Born & raised in Michigan, Dean & his wife, Ashley, moved to Houston in September of 2019. After discerning out of religious life, Dean finished up his studies in Theology & Catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. He met his wife at Franciscan and were married in December 2018. 

Before coming to St. Vincent de Paul, Dean had served in various ministries including sacramental preparation for children & teens, serving on various core teams leading college students and adults deeper in their prayer life and assisting with various retreats. He was blessed to attend a 30-day Ignatian Silent Retreat and loves teaching others Ignatian Spirituality. 

Dean is grateful to serve the youth at St. Vincent de Paul and to be a part of such a great community.  He loves coffee, music & leading others to Christ!
