Theme: SET PEOPLE’S HEART ABLAZE

The Society is hosting a mini-retreat. It is not enough for us to love God if others do not love Him. We must be intentional in serving and loving God and others. This mini retreat will help us reflect on the beauty of God’s inner life and understand our Vincentian mission. It is this beauty that will inspire us to desire God’s presence by receiving his son, Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. And it is this mission of bringing Christ’s hope to those in need that will set people’s heart ablaze!

Deacon Charley Buhay is the Spiritual Advisor of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Archdiocesan Council. He is assigned to Holy Rosary Church in Rosenberg and Spiritual Advisor of their Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference. Deacon Charlie Buhay was ordained 24 years ago. He earned a Master of Theology and he leads the Hospice and Home Health agency. He is a husband and father of three young men, has two grandsons, and he is trying so hard to be holy.

The retreat will begin with 8:15 mass in the Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel.
